The inaugural launch event of the Lambda Quantitative Strategies Association (LAQSA), held in collaboration with Bloomberg at their offices, was a resounding success! This first-of-its-kind gathering brought together leading Quant Experts from across the Indian Industry, Govt. Institutions, Academic and Research Institutions.
Participation was widespread, with attendees traveling from cities across India specifically for the event. The overwhelming interest led to over-registration, requiring us to close registrations early. Even then, the turnout exceeded expectations, filling the venue to capacity. This enthusiastic response is a testament to the growing demand for a forum that connects the quant and systematic strategies community in India.
The event provided a platform for some of the most brilliant minds in the quant space to discuss the future of quantitative strategies. Key takeaways from the insightful discussions included:
